Take the Fair Trade Challenge.
Buy only locally made, union made or fair trade for gifts and birthdays. Recycled goods from a second hand store and local art are also conscious consumer gifts.

The following stores either carry 100% screened and listed fair trade or carry some percentage of fair trade items sourced by Living Wage. We list all stores but try to describe the quantity of fair trade items they carry, so if a store is not 100% please ask each store to direct you to actual fair trade items provided by Living Wage other items approved by the Fair Trade Federation producers and importers. Also look for items that are locally made, as well as union made items with a union logo. Just because it says "Made in America" it does not mean it is union made or that it pays a living wage.

The following are locally owned and operated stores carrying Living Wage Fair Trade Imports:

New Leaf Market is a cooperatively owned organic natural health food store, that provides some gift items, many of them our fair trade. They also carry a nice variety of Sweetwater Organic fair trade coffee (Florida's only Fair Trade Coffee Roaster). New Leaf is open every day from 8:00am to 10:00pm located in the first shopping center east of the Capitol at 1235 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32301 (850) 942-2557  Stacy is the Fair Trade buyer who can be reached in supplements.
 

Ten Thousand Villages in Market Square carries a significant amount of our goods. They are open 10:00am till 6:00pm most days except Sunday.

HoneyTree in Market Square also carries our fair trade goods. They also have a variety of organic natural health foods.

In the Tallahassee Red-Hills Bio region:

Downtown Books in historic Apalachicola is the only fair trade provider in town. You can thank Dale Julian who has made it a point to provide fairly trade goods and will explain the principles to residents of Florida's most important port before the civil war.
